Clouds of Sin

Here's my contest entry for ! The theme of the contest was that we had to draw a scene from the first series of Warriors books, but in a different way or something. I had no idea, so I borrowed one of the ideas mentioned on the contest journal, which mentioned drawing a scene underwater. That sounded really fun to draw, and it was!

So yeah, I decided to go with Tigerstar's death. I know it's been done many times, but I've never drawn it myself, so I wanted to give it a go. I went with the underwater idea, but I wanted it to look as if the scene was reflecting off of a bubble, hence the weird perspectives, roundness, shininess etc. I also wanted the blood to fade off in clouds, like it'd do in water. I hope it turned out alright :S and look, smudges! That's my attempt at trying to make it look underwater-ish :'D
I hope it's not too dark, either xD
I was going to do it in an Okami style, so like a japanese painting since I was listening to Okami boss battle music the whole time but as I got further into the picture, I just kind of forgot about it :S

I actually recorded this so there'll be a speedpaint up sooner or later
